KEN BRUCKNER Would it have killed you to put the fly line on a cardboard spool before shipping? Backing came on a plastic spool, flyline was just shipped loose. By the time I hade it tied to the backing I had a tangled mess on my hands. What should have taken 5 minutes to rig up ended up taking a half hour.

Fredric Jepsen I use a lot of rods for youth to learn fly fishing with. This is a great option because as my lines get beat up after they are used to learn casting on lawns then go out to the water. This provides a quick complete line change.
