Bought the premium sink tip recently, it does a great job, easy to cast, brings the streamers to the right spot !!
I have used this line to great effect in flowing river applications. It's a smooth casting line that does not hinge and has a smooth, imperceptible transition to the floating portion. I will fish this for species ranging from trout and bass, all the way to large salmon and other species. This is a fantastic product that I will go to for both river and stillwater situations. For me, runs just slightly higher than stated line weight. Highly recommend.
This line is an excellent choice for any discerning angler. I fish this line frequently on my 6 and 8wt rods. This is my preferred wading line and it’s bright enough to track and the head is robust and easy to load quickly. If you are questioning whether to get this or not. Go ahead and make that jump. It’s worth it.
I love the Maxxon Products, as a dealer, I basically let people try the products and they sell themselves. I loaned a man a line last week and awhile later he came back and said where can I get some of that line? It casts great. Sold more!!!
This line is very easy to cast and can punch into strong winds without hard work. This line is rated for cold to moderately warm water temperatures. I recently used this line in water temperature of 39 degrees and air temperature of 26 degrees, multiple days in a row. This line handles very well even in the cold air temps, with ice on all my guides. In the summer I love to use this line with my 5wt or 6wt rods fishing riprap in the Mississippi river. I can make my cast, strip in a couple of feet and then do a water haul for the back cast and shoot it out a few feet away from my previous cast. I also use this line with streamers for trout.
