Rod looks nice cant wait to use it. There was no option for other shipping so I had to pay the $15 which is a lot in my opinion and it said it would be here in 3-8 days but it took 12 Other than the shipping looks very well built and light and compact making it perfect for small creeks or backpacking trips. Cant wait to take it out

I bought this rod 3 weeks ago I took this rod hiking and the tip fell off and do a bunch of dry grass into the woods on a very steep Hill. I spent about 2 or 3 hours searching for it but could not sent it to the rod. Tips are very small I went on to the maxxson parts site to buy a new rod tip which was around $50, I was very not happy of how expensive it was going to be, especially since I'd already spent $225 on the rod. I went ahead and ordered the new rod tip and told them that in the notes that the rod tip was lost and that I was buying a new one. Two days later I received an email from Max and that they refunded me and only charged me shipping which I was incredibly impressed since they had every right and reason to get out of any warranty in writing it says they cover any breaks but not losses. I received my package today and they sent me two extra rod tips and a second piece number five as well. So if I ever break or lose another tip I have one ready to go and they didn't charge me anything additionally or extra. I cannot express how happy I am with their warranty and I and for now on forever sold on Maxxon rods these guys have the best warranty out there with rods that compared to siege and orvis. I've caught many fish on this four weight. Rod, it is awesome to go take hiking and traveling because it fits in a very small bag. I am very happy with my purchase
