Feels pretty good so far

The color and feel of the rod is great.

Excellent rods for all skill levels

If you're looking for a fly rod that won't break the bank yet still give you very good performance then the Gorge just might be the rod for you! As an upper mid flex action these rods cast easily are very strong and handle appropriately sized fish with authority. A great value for anyone at under $150 these rods have both performance and value!

9WT

Been using Maxxon fly rods now for over a year and have loved their fly rods. Was looking forward to trying the Gorge 9WT and unfortunately it broke (section 3) fighting a 4LB fish. Upon closer inspection I noticed the feel and quality of the rod just felt off compared to other rods I’ve acquired from Maxxon. Because of that I won’t be ordering replacements as I’ll take this as a loss I guess.

Gorge 9’ 10 WT

I purchased this rod primarily for fishing sockeye in the kenai river. I can truly said it’s the perfect rod for handling big fish and the current at the same time. Very happy with the products this company produces.
