FALCON Fly Rod

Product was damaged because they shipped in a box not the correct size. No fragile label. They used two boxes and the one on the inside is short so I was able to be compressed. Contacted customer service and they are waiting for the claim to cover their cost and won’t ship me a replacement until then. What company does that? Also waited over a week cuz shipping was delayed. Now I’m sittin with a broken rod that was not appropriately shipped and I have to wait another two weeks? Very unprofessional.

I purchased this fly rod specifically for my annual Salmon fishing trip. The reviews on the rod were good and it seemed like a good fit for my Behemouth Fly reel. Hooked a good size King and while trying to land the fish, the tip of my pole, approximately the last 6 inches, snapped off. Needless to say, I was disappointed. Kudos to Maxxon Outfitters for having a lifetime warranty and quickly sending me a replacement section. Looking forward to getting back out there next year.

I use these rods along with Maxxon’s Max reels and I love and highly recommend both. They are great quality and perform excellent on handling and landing salmon and steelheads.

Great budget rod. Utilized for a 4 day salmon fishing trip in NY. Rod handled dunking lead no issues. Hooked quite a few and landed several King Salmon in the 15 -20 lb range. Rod had a nice parabolic bend while fighting the fish.

In love with this flyrod, I took advantage of the labor day sale and decided on the falcon after reading some reviews. I've gotta say I love it! Its handled perfectly through a variety of fish, main reason for purchase was to target steelhead up at the great lakes, ive near daily used it in my area and caught many many fish both smaller pans and larger steelhead, catfish, bass.musky. its never once failed me! Definitely worth the wait if your in the states, customs will open it and theyre pretty ruff but it come flawless unbroken, unmarked.
